Lesson Roleplay
Imagine you're calling a small restaurant in Italy. You want to book a table for two on Saturday evening to celebrate your wedding anniversary.
Trattoria Da Luisa, buonasera, mi dica.
Trattoria Da Luisa, good evening, how can I help you?
Good evening, I'd like to book a table for two on Saturday evening. It's our wedding anniversary.
Allora auguri! A che ora pensava di venire? Abbiamo posto alle otto o alle nove e mezza.
Well, congratulations! What time were you thinking of coming? We have space at eight or at half past nine.
Eight would be perfect. Would it be possible to have a slightly secluded table, maybe on the terrace?
Unfortunately the terrace is already fully booked on Saturday. But I can reserve the corner by the window for you, it's very quiet.
