Talking about Jesus: Sharing your faith

💬 The all-purpose greeting in Spain. The H is silent: OH-la.

🇪🇸 In Spain it’s normal to greet with “Hola” + “¿Qué tal?” even with strangers (shops, cafés, elevators).

💬 Use this to ask permission or make a polite request. In Spain you’ll also hear “¿Podría...?” for extra politeness.

🇪🇸 When talking about faith, a gentle “¿Puedo...?” feels respectful and not pushy.

💬 It’s “preguntar” + “te” (to you) attached: preguntar + te = preguntarte.

🇪🇸 Adding “perdona” or “oye” before this can sound very natural in Spain: “Oye, ¿puedo preguntarte…?”
