🇯🇵 Use [もしもし] only on the phone, not face-to-face. In a reservation call, it's a normal way to open before saying what you need.

💬 Put [の] between two nouns and the first one describes the second: [今夜の予約] is "tonight's reservation." You can reuse this with time words too, like [明日の予約] for "tomorrow's reservation."

💬 [〜たいです] means "want to do," so [確認したいです] is literally "I want to confirm." In service situations, this often comes across as a polite softener, like English "I'd like to confirm."

💬 [〜について] means "about" in the sense of a topic: [予約について] = "about the reservation." You can swap in other topics, like [キャンセルについて確認したいです] for "I'd like to confirm the cancellation policy."

🇯🇵 The [ご] makes this more polite, so staff often say [ご予約] when speaking to customers. You can say plain [予約] yourself and still sound natural.

🇯🇵 At a restaurant, [お名前] usually means the name the booking is under, not your full legal name. Giving just your surname is normally enough.
