💬 で here marks the terms of the booking. Swap in other details the same way: 7時でお取りしております "we have you down for 7 o'clock".

💬 一人 is said (hitori), not (ichi-nin). Two people is likewise irregular: 二人 (futari).

💬 増えそう means "looks likely to increase", and the trailing んですが "but..." softly opens a request without finishing it.

🇯🇵 Leaving the sentence hanging on が invites the staff to respond, which sounds much more polite than asking outright.

💬 に marks what something changes into: 7時に変更 "change to 7 o'clock". していただく means having someone kindly do it for you.

💬 Put any request in front with ことは and it becomes a polite ask: 予約を変えることは可能でしょうか "would it be possible to change the reservation?"

💬 〜ことは可能でしょうか "would it be possible to..." is a reusable polite request frame. Try キャンセルすることは可能でしょうか "would it be possible to cancel?".

🇯🇵 Many izakaya and Japanese restaurants have private rooms, and groups often request one. Sometimes a room charge or a minimum group size applies, so it's worth asking.

💬 埋まる literally means "to be buried" or "filled in". For seats you'll usually hear it as 埋まっております "are all taken".

🇯🇵 Restaurants often offer テーブル席 versus 座敷 "tatami-floor seating" or カウンター席 "counter seats", so you may be asked which you prefer.

💬 構いません literally means "I don't mind". It's a polite way to accept an option that isn't necessarily your first choice.

💬 〜で構いません means "... is fine (with me)". Swap in anything: 8時で構いません "8 o'clock is fine".

🇯🇵 Staff use this very polite "understood" with customers. As a customer, you'd just say わかりました or はい.

🇯🇵 This is a warm, natural way to thank someone who has accommodated you. It sounds less stiff than a plain "thank you" and shows you appreciate the effort.

💬 当日 (tōjitsu) means the specific day already being discussed. You'll often hear it as 当日キャンセル "same-day cancellation".

🇯🇵 This has no neat English equivalent. Here it simply closes the call warmly, roughly "thanks, see you then", and the staff will likely say it back.

🇯🇵 Restaurants almost always close a reservation call with this. It's your cue that everything is settled, and you can reply with よろしくお願いします "thank you, I'm counting on you".
